I was born in 1946 in the then small town of Irvine in north Ayrshire Scotland.
Learned the basics of how to paint from my father using oils.
Did not paint for many years until found a method of hand painting using an oil painting medium combined with a tablet.
The style of my artwork is traditional inspired by impressionist paintings and influenced by realistic styling to convey character and / or movement of my subjects hopefully allowing the viewer to enjoy a glimpse of the mood.
